This season appears to have grown quite difficult for some single mothers as parents prepare their children to return to school this year. Today is the second time a woman has criticized the father of a famous child for not being financially involved in their child’s life. As previously reported, Brittni Mealy chastised Future last week for allegedly refusing to help their son by giving him money for school clothes. Ashley, the mother of super-producer Southside’s son, issued a statement today chastising him for failing to provide school supplies and clothing for their son RJ.
She wrote a lengthy letter on her Instagram story, stating it was sad that she had to disclose this information online and that she was receiving more support from strangers than from her real family. In the email, the mother of two chastised Southside for flexing on Instagram but failing to give their child a box of clothes and supplies. She also revealed that she set up a GoFundMe campaign with a $2,500 aim to help her seven-year-old son and ten-year-old daughter raise money. Ashley described her struggles as a single mother in the description.
She went on to say that she is currently unemployed owing to the COVID-19 pandemic and is the sole caretaker for her diabetic kid. All of this has made it difficult for her to keep up with expenses and feed her family. Ashley also reiterated her assertion that Southside had failed to pay RJ’s child support payments. She had already chastised him for doing the same thing.
