The build-up to Kanye West‘s Donda’s release has just gotten a little bit more exciting. On Saturday, the rapper shared a snapshot of a strange text message he sent to an eight-person group chat, one of whom was Pusha T. The Yeezus rapper was preparing for a fight when the message arrived.
“This is what I live for,” Kanye wrote. “I’ve spent my entire life being f*cked by nerd ass jock n****s like you. You will never be able to recover. I swear to you.” Kanye posted the statement at 12:28 p.m. on Saturday, and while it’s unknown who the rapper is addressing, fans have plenty of hypotheses.
Many people feel Drake is one of the “nerd ass jock n****s” Kanye is talking about. Drake’s guest verse on Trippie Redd’s “Betrayal” was released just hours before the rapper’s Instagram post. “All these fools I’m beefin’ that I barely know / Forty-five, forty-four (Burned out), let it go,” Drake raps on the track, likely referring to Kanye and Pusha’s ages, both of which are 44.
“You ain’t changin’ shi*t for me, it’s set in stone / Rollin’ stones, hefty stones (PinkGrillz) / Precious stone, let me make my presence felt,” Drake continues. Fans believe the screenshot of the group message is a foreshadowing of Kanye’s vengeance for the diss.
