Many followers of YouTubers De’arra Taylor and Ken Walker were not prepared for the finale of today’s “arra.” Once the “relationship goals” were announced, the YouTube stars created their own channels. De’arra and Ken returned after a two-month sabbatical with a new video that surprised some of their viewers. Over 700,000 people watched the nearly ten-minute film, which peaked at number one on YouTube, to learn about the reasons for the split. De’arra and Ken used their DK4L channel to take viewers down memory lane by playing old videos and thanking their fans for their nearly seven-year support.
Both plugged their new channels and provided viewers an overview of what they may expect, while stating that this was not “the end.” De’arra stated that she would be vlogging, demonstrating her cooking abilities, shopping, traveling, and other activities. Ken stated that his channel would feature daily vlogs, awareness projects, and health and wellness information. The subject of whether De’arra and Ken would delete the channel was brought up by De’arra. “We’ve had a lot of inquiries. Will we be blogging on this channel, is the big question.
“We don’t know what the future holds,” she replied. She did, however, state that the channel would be permanent, and that users will be able to watch the posted videos alongside their other combined channel. As the video progressed, Ken stated that they would not unfollow each other on Instagram or delete any photos. There has been much conjecture that De’arra and Ken are feuding, which she has clarified. “No, we’re not beefing; Ken and I don’t have any animosity, no bad blood, and none of that is good.
”De’arra left the biggest question unanswered in viewers’ minds, which was her relationship status. She nor Ken confirmed or denied that they were still a couple. While the news had De’arra trending on Twitter, many commended her for being single. Although she didn’t confirm, she did like the tweet, “De’arra and Ken just told us they broke up without saying they broke up,” which raised a few eyebrows.
