It’s safe to say that summer isn’t turning out the way we planned. Hot vax summer swiftly became Summer 2020: The Sequel, thanks to the Delta strain and a low vaccination rate. While we’re not as upbeat this season as we were in the spring, things aren’t as bad as they were last year, especially if you’re fully vaccinated and ready to party. Concerts, festivals, and large-scale gatherings are still happening (for the time being), so some people are still having a good time wherever they can. And you’d be hard-pressed to find a location more fun or unhinged than Palm Springs, California’s Splash House over the previous two weekends.
Splash House participants were treated to nonstop partying at three separate pool-equipped resort venues, with DJs such as Gorgon City, Camel Phat, San Holo, and Cassian providing the music. Festival-goers decked out their balconies and danced in their best Y2K-inspired beachwear through an atmosphere of waves and bubbles, resulting in a fashion vibe that was as calm as it was futuristic.
The good times didn’t have to be limited to the great outdoors. The Green Dragon consumption lounge, which featured interactive kiosks, branded products, a private DJ, and high-end farm-to-table cannabis, was open to those searching for a more relaxed environment. We’ve gathered a few images from the past two weekends so you can enjoy the last days of summer and get some wardrobe ideas for your next pool party. Let’s get started.
