D Smoke’s debut album, Black Habits, was released in deluxe format just seven months ago. Snow Tha Product and E-40 contributed four songs and features to the already great project, which also featured Ari Lennox, Snoop Dogg, Sir, Jill Scott, Davion Farris, Jackie Grouche, and Iguocho. Since then, the Inglewood rapper has been pretty busy in the music world, releasing a slew of tracks, some of which may appear on the rapper’s impending sophomore album, which he revealed on Tuesday.
D Smoke used Instagram to reveal the title of his new album, War & Wonders. The rapper announced that the album would be released on September 24 and even displayed the artwork, which depicts D Smoke standing tall with a crowd of people heaped on top of him. D Smoke’s most recent single, “Shame On You,” which we may expect to be on the album, was released last month and showed love to the rebels fighting for a just cause.
Elsewhere in 2021, D Smoke delivered a tribute track to Sade and remixed “Gasper Yanga” with Snoop Dogg after dropping “Basketball” for Last Chance U.
