Drake had a huge week last week, with nine of the top ten singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart coming from his new album, Certified Lover Boy. Now, understandably, interest in the record has waned, causing him to lose his No. 1 spot: The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber’s “Stay” returns to the top of the chart for the fifth week in a row on the September 25 chart.
Drake, on the other hand, is still doing well on the Hot 100, with three songs in the top ten: “Way 2 Sexy” featuring Future and Young Thug (at No. 2), “Knife Talk” featuring 21 Savage and Project Pat (at No. 4) and “Girls Want Girls” starring Lil Baby (at No. 10). (No. 10).
Meanwhile, Bieber celebrates his 30th week with a No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100, putting him in a tie with Paul McCartney for 15th place all-time. However, he still has a long way to go to catch up to the leaders of that rank: Mariah Carey (84 weeks), Rihanna (60), The Beatles (59), Drake (52), and a few others are ahead of him.
Other notable chart arrivals include Walker Hayes’ “Fancy Like,” which has climbed to No. 5 and is now the year’s highest-charting country song thanks to a remix featuring Kesha (although Kesha is not credited on the song as it appears on the Hot 100).
