BIA’s meteoric climb to fame has been fascinating to follow over the last year, and the Massachusetts native maintains her winning run with the help of G Herbo on their new collaboration “Besito.” BIA shows off her bilingual rap talents by flipping between English and Spanish bars on her ability to capture attention no matter where she is on the track. G Herbo shows in with a verse of his own, expressing his love for the particular lady in his life while flexing his own biceps.
Nicki Minaj recently collaborated with BIA on a remix of her blockbuster single “Whole Lotta Money.” During a joint Instagram Live, the rappers discussed the new version of the song and how it came together before performing the remix. The song’s popularity rose to the point where a retailer sold out of Bottega Veneta heels, the luxury brand that BIA raps about in the song. The situation amused BIA, who wrote on Twitter, “Not the store clerk at Bottega saying the heels are sold out bc of the song.”
The single “Besito” arrives ahead of the deluxe reissue of BIA’s debut album, For Certain, which will be released next month. Six new songs are included in the update, including “Besito” and a Nicki Minaj remix of “Whole Lotta Money.” On the album, Herbo and Minaj will be joined by Lil Durk, Lil Jon, Doe Boy, and 42 Dugg as guest artists.
