Spooky season is upon us as Halloween is less than 40 days away, and Chris Ianuzzi is delivering a song that may make Jason switch up his signature music with”So Far So Near” (Parts 1 and 2). The song, which features “maniacal vocals and menacing music” starts off with some creepy synths before Ianuzzi starts speaking over the track with an elongated echo stretching his voice.
The song isn’t the best if it’s meant to be something one can listen to alone, but it could work well as a backdrop of a suspenseful scene—like when the Joker as he’s tempting Batman or as Dr. Jekyll is turning into Mr. Hyde.
“If / If they say it’s true / Could you imagine me with you / I didn’t know it’s you / Someones inside my dreams like you,” sings Ianuzzi in the beginning of the song. Later he adds “You hide / in the corners of my head / Someone’s inside my dreams I said.”
