Nirvana, Bktherula’s last full-length album, was released about a year ago. Those who have taken an interest in the Atlanta native’s work will be pleased to learn that she is working on a new body of work for her fans. However, before fans can get their hands on it, Bktherula releases “Placement,” a brand new song featuring a cameo appearance from Matt Ox as well as a new music video. The couple hang out in a futuristic Chinatown with holograms, flying automobiles, and flashing lights in the video.
Love Black, Bktherula’s newest project, will be released on October 22. Despite being billed as an EP, Love Black will contain 16 songs, providing fans with enough of music from the Atlanta rager. The album will also include her previously released hit, “Santanny,” which she released as part of a double single with “Blue” last spring.
In addition, Bktherula is preparing to perform as a support act for Lil Tecca’s upcoming tour. The Tecca Loves You Tour begins in Boston, Massachusetts on February 22, 2022, and ends in New York on April 5, 2022.
