It’s almost impossible to keep track of how many times Donald Trump has lost the 2020 presidential election in Maricopa County, Arizona at this point. His most recent humiliation came when the Computer Ninjas, the cyber gurus he and his followers entrusted with unearthing the true election results in Arizona county, (re)confirmed that not only did Joe Biden win, but he won by a significantly bigger margin than previously reported. Anderson Cooper, for one, is sick of hearing things his way.
Cooper spent part of his Thursday night broadcast, according to Raw Story, calling out Arizona congressman Andy Biggs’ nonsense. Biggs said, “We don’t know,” during an oversight hearing on the state’s contentious ballot review, which made Cooper’s head spin:
“I mean, that’s total nonsense. It’s incredible that that individual is a member of Congress. That individual is simply lying. Isn’t it strange how commonplace it’s become? To me, it’s simply fantastic.
Congressman Biggs is one of several lawmakers being looked at by the House Select Committee for his role in the former president’s rally, which preceded the attack on the Capitol. The Committee issued more subpoenas today. Meantime, four of his former top aides and allies are facing a midnight deadline to turn over documents to the committee. So no, none of this is history yet and sadly it is still current events.”
