Los Angeles-based artist My Autumn Amor just released a new EP, “Quiet Girl.” However, the lead single isn’t the best song on the project. While ” Quiet Girl” feels a little flat, the rest of the five-song EP proves to be more promising.
The more-upbeat second track “RSVP” is great for anyone who loves the sweet innocence of Owl City’s “Fireflies.” As My Autumn Amor croons “here’s my heart,” you’re guaranteed to swoon. “Believe” and “Tempest Eye” are also enjoyable and reminiscent of Elton John’s folksy song “Rocket Man.”
