Maxo Kream, a Houston rapper, recently celebrated the two-year anniversary of Brandon Banks, his sophomore album, which marked his first release with Roc Nation and RCA and a stride forward in his career. Now, the Houston native has revealed that his third album, Weight Of The World, will be released on October 18, leaving fans only five days to prepare.
The major news was accompanied by a new video for the album’s latest track, “Greener Knots,” which was produced by Hit-Boy. The song finds Maxo narrating the horrible things he witnessed as a child, while the video depicts a crime perpetrated by Maxo and his buddies.
The third single from Weight Of The World is “Greener Knots.” Maxo kicked off the project’s rollout with the emotional video for “Local Joker.” He then released “Persona,” which has a powerful verse from Tyler The Creator as well as a boastful visual. Maxo has yet to announce the full tracklist or guest lineup for his upcoming new album, but he did reveal that it will have 16 tracks.
