Alicia Keys’ seventh album, Alicia, was released a little over a year ago and featured guest appearances from Sampha, Sir, Tierra Whack, Miguel, Khalid, Snoh Aalegra, and others. Due to the pandemic, the release of the record was postponed, but the singer is hopeful that won’t happen with her next album, Keys, which will be a sort of sequel to her other 2020 release.
Keys revealed that the new record would be a double album, with Side A containing her own “laidback piano vibes” and Side B showcasing Mike Will Made-“upbeat, It’s drums & level Up” feel. She did not provide a release date for the album, although it is expected to be released soon.
After producing the Netflix film Resort To Love, Alicia Keys has announced the release of a new album. It starred Christina Milian, another 2000s pop icon, and tells the story of a singer who gets booked for her ex’s wedding, only to fall in love with him and steal him away from his soon-to-be bride.
