Reason is preparing to release a new project just over a year after releasing his debut album, New Beginnings. Wale, Adé, Doe Boy, labelmates Isaiah Rashad and Zacari, as well as Griselda’s Benny The Butcher, will all featured on the California-bred rapper’s forthcoming album, No More, No Less: Demo 1, which will be released on October 29. “A tiny collection of thoughts and moments that I’ve been requested for often,” Reason said of the project, adding that it’s “something I wanted to provide to y’all in the meantime.” “I love you guys, and I’ll see you soon!”
Reason apologized to followers on Twitter after announcing the project, saying he was sorry for keeping them waiting for new music. “Please accept my apologies for taking so long,” he said. “Unless it’s on purpose, it won’t happen again.” A year isn’t really a long time to wait for a new project from musicians. New Beginnings was actually published two years after his previous album, There You Have It, which was released in late 2018.
Reason just appeared in the music video for Isaiah Rashad’s song “Chad,” which features YGTUT and is featured on Rashad’s album The House Is Burning.
