According to several sources, a Houston couple was detained after abandoning three children in an apartment, along with the remains of another child.
Gloria Williams, 35, is accused of causing bodily harm by omission and tampering with evidence. Brian Coulter, Williams’ lover, has been charged with murder.
According to the New York Post, Coulter allegedly beat Williams’ 8-year-old son, Kendrick, to death in 2020 and then abandoned the body for 11 months. One neighbor claimed they complained to the apartment office about a terrible stench for nearly a year and nothing was done. When Kendrick looked to be dead, Coulter allegedly wrapped him in a blanket and kicked him while he lay still on the floor. When Williams discovered Kendrick was dead, she began crying and fought with Coulter before fleeing with the children.
One of Williams’ family members informed KPRC that the 8-year-elder old’s brother (15) reported to authorities that the victim was autistic. Because Williams already had five other children, family members regularly offered aid in raising the autistic boy, but Williams apparently declined.
