The video for Pink Sweats’ new single “Nothing Feels Better” is reminiscent of a simpler period when finding love was as simple as passing a note in class. “Nothing Feels Better,” Sweats’ first song from his planned follow-up to Planet Pink, describes the blissful sense of true love, with the singer saying, “Forever I’m yours / just know that I’m all in.”
The vivid graphics in the accompanying video echo those thoughts, portraying the singer as a student who scrawls a love letter and sends it her way in an attempt to win her heart. The classmates pursue their varied interests throughout the movie, from rollerskating in the hallway to dancing in an empty classroom, establishing a link between the romantic love of the song and the sense of fulfillment that comes from pursuing any other goal.
