David Bowie had Starman, and now Flavour Nurse is giving their own alien vibes.
“Transcending to terrestrial airwaves through a wormhole near you, Flavour Nurse is an entourage of misfit aliens from an alternate-universe,” reads a press release about the group. “Led by a power duo of spacefaring mystics; Gaius Black (frontman) and Sobias Sheim (bass), Flavour Nurse seek to raise the vibration of the galaxy with a cosmic blend of music and magic dubbed ‘Arcane Rock.'”
Flavour Nurse follows through with the eccentric concept in their latest music video for “Majesty” as well. In the music video, green-faced extra terrestrials are seen exploring a planet. “Kindred spirits, find comfort in knowing there is a plan,” sings the group, before noting that it’s “Majesty above all else.”
The song itself is somehow reminiscent of both Queen and Seal—but overall enjoyable on top of its out-of-this-world music video.
According to the press release, “the band are one of the pioneering acts of the LovAnaverse – a music universe franchise set to feature a wide range of concept artists, each with their own unique musical style and story to tell.”
The song comes off of Flavour Nurse’s self-titled album that’s set to be released on November 12. Listen to “Majesty” below.
