Ahead of Veteran’s Day on November 11, Peter Karroll released “Coming Home,” a song “dedicated to all of the men and women who paid the ultimate price and gave their lives for the freedom of generations to follow. And to the veterans who fought and came home to tell their stories to their sons and daughters.”
“It’s been almost six months since I left from home. I hold a picture of my newborn son, now he’s two years old. I can’t find my best friend. They tell me he’s gone. They said that we’ll be coming home when the war is won,” he sings. “This is the end. I’m coming home tonight.”
Overall the song is enjoyable, and the message is touching.
Karroll also dedicated this song to his father, Edward John Karroll, who served in World War II. Listen to the song below.
