J Balvin has been on a roll for a while now, and his latest video continues that trend. He’s releasing a new video from his latest album, JOSE, alongside Panamanian musician Sech, that’s jam-packed with feel-good reggaeton vibes and plenty of partying. The two meet at a warehouse party full of dancing women and colorful individuals who promise a fun evening.
Balvin, on the other hand, proves that he can’t be contained with each new release. His variety is always on display, from last year’s marketing cooperation with McDonald’s to his stronghold on the Latin music charts to his Tiny Desk concert along New York’s east river. Even when he makes a mistake, as as his recent “Perra” video, which was criticized for its representation of Black women, he quickly apologizes and accepts responsibility.
He’s made it apparent that he’ll continuing taking on unexpected endeavors and broadening the world’s expectations after a powerful collaboration with Skepta and his latest remake of Metallica’s “Wherever I May Roam” as a reggaeton tune. Check out Sech’s latest video above, and keep your eyes open for what he’ll be doing next.
