The Arkansas Razorbacks showed some life in 2020, improving to 3-7 under Sam Pittman after two seasons with 2-10 records. Following that, the Hogs have emerged as a really dangerous team in 2021, going 7-4 in their first 11 games and defeating the quintet of Texas, LSU, Mississippi State, and Texas A&M. The Razorbacks will end the regular season with a national television showdown against Missouri on Friday. Harry Styles drew extra attention to North Little Rock on Wednesday night ahead of the fight, eventually leading the entire arena in “calling the pigs” to tremendous applause and excitement.
Styles, who isn’t exactly known for his college football credentials, was performing at Simmons Bank Arena on Nov. 24, and it’s evident that he or someone close to him did some homework on the audience. During the show, Styles set it up in an intricate manner, as seen here, and then delivered with vigor on the scenario.
It’s plausible, if not probable, that Styles had little knowledge of this practice prior to this night. Nonetheless, he did a fantastic job, and the audience was clearly buying into what he was selling. Of course, the fact that most people paying to see him play have a strong belief in him helps, but others may be convinced by this spectacle in the run-up to a big game on Black Friday.
