Drake sat courtside at Wednesday night’s Oklahoma City Thunder-Houston Rockets game in Oklahoma City for some reason.
Drake’s attendance is most likely to support Thunder guard and Toronto native Shai-Gilgeous Alexander (as well as Lu Dort, another Canadian on OKC’s roster). But why this particular game in particular? Gilgeous-Alexander will return to the Thunder at some time in the future. This isn’t even a strong opponent for the Thunder to face. No offense to the Rockets, but they’re one of the worst teams in the league (despite a 4-game winning streak) and are currently without their top pick (Jalen Green) due to injury.

Drake also made friends with an older couple seated next to him in his courtside seat, referring to them as his ‘new parents’ on his Instagram story.
Houston won 114-110 thanks to a strong fourth-quarter comeback, so maybe Drake is smarter than us all, a shrewd shopper for what had to have been some reasonably cheap courtside seats to watch a pretty thrilling game.Source:
