If you watch the hit HBO series Euphoria, you know that aside from the stellar acting and storytelling, the series is also known for its music. After listening to Sines’ album A Series of Moments, I immediately felt reminiscent of the series.
A Series of Moments successfully shares a sound that sounds both like 80s synth-pop and current-day alternative R&B/pop making it a perfect fit for the show. The album kicks off with two promising songs “Something in the Way” and “Powerless.” But a standout track sits at the center at the album with “Sometimes I Wish,” a song about wishing to getting lost in someone else and “running away forever.” Sound familiar?
