At Atherton High School, Jack Harlow got his start. The Louisville native began rapping when he was a youngster, and he even recorded now-viral videos of himself rhyming in the school hallways. In the midst of the “No Place Like Home” Tour, which takes place at five different venues in Louisville, he’s been showing a lot of love to his hometown, and he recently announced that he’ll be distributing his wealth by making contributions to five local non-profits.
But what he did this morning by paying a visit to his old mater, Atherton High School, was all positive emotions. As Harlow went inside the school, the children’ enthusiasm was so pure as they welcomed back one of their own. On Instagram, Harlow shared a handful of clips from the event:
What a warm reception for a hero. The wave of cellphones and hundreds of huggers that rush up to Harlow are a reflection of the wonderful vibes and happiness he’s bringing back to his hometown. Congratulations, sir.
