9-1-1: Lone Star (FOX, 8:00pm) — After the fire burrito that started it all, this franchise has kept things chaotic and outrageous long after the flaming burrito that started it all. The Austin locale has seen a volcano and a dominatrix-centered plot since then. Roller derby and military tank mayhem have gone on, but gorgeous Rob Lowe is keeping things handsome in the midst of it all while bearing the weight of the 126 on his still-sculpted shoulders.
Kenan Thompson’s long-awaited moment as a leading man enters second-season territory (NBC, 8:00 p.m.). He’s experimenting with dating apps (ugh), and the ensuing minefield is (naturally) affecting other aspects of his existence.
The Ordinary Joe (NBC, 10:00pm) — James Wolk is continuing portraying three Joes, including a cop, nurse, and rock star on the show, which premiered last night. Cop Joe confronts tough revelations in this week’s episode, while Music Joe begins to rethink a lot of what he thought he understood.
Profile (HBO, 8:00 p.m.) — Follow an investigative journalist as she uncovers a system that recruits young women (from Europe) into ISIS’s clutches.
