Cordae’s sophomore album From A Birds Eye View will be released a week from today, and the world will be waiting to hear it. Since his Grammy-nominated debut The Lost Boy in 2019, it will be the DMV rapper’s first full-length album. With a sick freestyle over Kendrick Lamar’s 2017 track, “The Heart Part 4,” Cordae returns with a nasty freestyle over the song, aptly titled “FABEV Freestyle,” and an accompanying video that shows him enjoying a trip to Paris to keep the anticipation and enthusiasm for his next album high.
Cordae focuses on his ascent to popularity in rap in the freestyle, which is an introspective attempt. From being doubtful if he would find success in hip-hop to working in the studio with Mos Def, he discusses his journey. Cordae is glad for times like these, and they inspire him to continue to grow as an artist.
As of right now, Cordae hasn’t revealed the full tracklist for From A Birds Eye View. The project will comprise 14 tracks, including previously released hits “Super,” “Sinister” with Lil Wayne, and “Gifted” with Roddy Ricch, according to reports.
