The winnings of Amy Schneider only needed $23,000 to surpass the $1,000,000 million barriers, and with Friday night’s Jeopardy! On Friday, she nailed it with nearly $42,000 in additional winnings from the previous episode. Amy might have lost a significant portion of her earnings during Final Jeopardy, but she pulled it off. She’s the fourth Jeopardy! contestant! Every millionaire, and Amy isn’t done yet.
“It’s not a number of money I ever expected would be linked with my name,” Amy told Variety of her milestone “It feels fantastic, it feels bizarre.”
Schneider has had quite a run thus far, having been the Winningest Woman in the show’s history (almost a week ago). Despite the fact that she’s been off social media for the previous few days, there’s reason to celebrate tonight. Amy’s 28th win is counted in this episode, and she’s now a Jeopardy! No matter how far she goes, the millionaire will also compete in the Tournament of Champions.
Consequently, Amy never needed to answer the Machine Gun Kelly question in order to arrive here. I make a joke, but she’s had a terrible week. She was robbed at gunpoint in Oakland, California, over the weekend. She also disclosed that she was sick earlier this week, so here’s hoping that, given her super-reinforced champ status, she’s feeling much better today and in a nice attitude.
Congratulations to Amy, and may she continue her winning run. On social media, many are ecstatic and cheering.
