This summer, Pavement is planning a much-anticipated, virtually sold-out reunion tour, which will finally take place after their two-show 2020 return was rescheduled. For fans who weren’t able to get tickets to their tour in June, Pavement has something extra planned: the veteran indie rockers are reissuing their 1999 album Twilight Terror in a major way.
A 45-track effort that includes 28 unreleased songs has been revealed by Pavement and their company Matador, as well as details for their huge Twilight Terror: Farewell Horizontal deluxe edition. This collection includes remastered originals, bonus tracks (B- sides), home demos, rehearsal tapes, era-appropriate live recordings, and even Pavement’s rough tracks recorded at Sonic Youth’s Echo Canyon studio. The band also revealed one of the previously unheard tracks, “Be The Hook,” which is now accessible on streaming services, to commemorate the big announcement.
