These days, Kanye West is very busy, but not so busy that he can’t speak up for the homeless.
According to TMZ, Kanye West is planning a collaboration with the producer of Skid Row Fashion Week. “Kanye is collaborating with Skid Row Fashion Week on a new fashion display and collaboration with the ultimate purpose of assisting the homeless.”
“Earlier this month, while Ye was recording ‘Donda 2’ at his studio in L.A.’s Arts District — near Skid Row — they decided to create a Yeezy X Skid Row Fashion Week clothing collab,” says David Sabastian, the company’s creator.
His company, according to David, donates a portion of every sale to support people who live on Skid Row.
He further claims that the clothing factory employs some of the people.
Kanye will use “100% of the proceeds to help the homeless on Skid Row.”
Money from sales will be utilized to hire more people to work at the factory for Skid Row Fashion Week on February 22nd.
In addition, the fashion show will incorporate artifacts from Skid Row. “A trash bag puffer jacket, for example, is one of the event’s fashion concepts.”
