Due to delivery delays and covid, Adele’s highly anticipated Las Vegas residency was postponed last month.
She expressed her disappointment on social media at the time, writing, “I’m really sorry, but my show ain’t ready.” We’ve done everything we can to complete it on schedule and to ensure that it meets your expectations. However, shipping delays and COVID have completely killed us. “It’s been tough to finish the show because half of my team is out with COVID.”
Since the postponement, fans have been wondering if the residency will still take place.
During a recent interview on The Graham Norton Show, she said, “I don’t want to announce a new set of dates until I know that everything will definitely be ready, cause could you imagine?”
When asked how long would fans have to wait until they could see her Las Vegas show, she said, “That’s absolutely happening this year.”
“I want a baby next year,” she added, giggling, before adding, “I have plans next year.” I have plans, but picture having to cancel them because I’m expecting a baby. No, I’ve got plans for next year, and they [her performances] had best f*ck up this year.”
Fans instantly began to mention Adele’s boyfriend, sports agent Rich Paul, after she revealed her desire to have another child.
It was recently reported that the couple was going through a hard period in their relationship. However, she added “Rich sends his love” to a post earlier this month announcing her appearance for The BRIT Awards, which helped to put the rumors to rest.
