Three-time Grammy winner Jill Scott has returned! To the delight of neo-soul fans everywhere, the Philadelphia native will drop her sixth album, To Whom This May Concern. Set to release on February 13, 2026, the 19-track album features collaborations from a multitude of artists, including Too $hort, Ab-Soul and Tierra Whack.
Additionally, it features production from many notable producers, including DJ Premier, Trombone Shorty, and Om’Mas Keith. This marks her first full-length project in over a decade since her album Woman in 2015. Released on January 2, 2026, the lead single “Beautiful People” was written Scott and Om’Mas Keith. Produced by Keith, the uplifting song celebrates resilience, love and unity. With lyrics like “Our love is bigger than time erased”, the song highlights authentic human connections.
Released on January 9, 2026, “Pressha” is the album’s second single. With its jazz-infused vibe, the song explores familiar themes of pressure from society. These themes include status and beauty standards. Through her trademark cinematic storytelling, Scott narrates a romantic relationship where she was pursued, but not chosen due to not fitting a certain image. With the cover art created by acclaimed artist Marcellus, To Whom This May Concern includes vinyl and a CD. Preorders are available now on shop.missjillscott.com.
