The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton has been hit by severe morning sickness (hyperemesis gravidarum) following her second pregnancy.
Kate, 32, is expecting her second Royal baby with Prince William,32 according to an official announcement they made on September 8th.
The Duchess had suffered from the same condition During her first pregnancy in 2012 before she gave birth to Prince George. The pregnancy is reportedly only in the first trimester, but she was forced to reveal her condition after she started feeling unwell.
It’s been reported that the Duchess could not accompany the Duke on a joint engagement in Oxford yesterday, and it’s feared that the number of forthcoming engagements could also be affected.
Hyperemesis gravidarum is a condition characterized by prolonged nausea and vomiting, dehydration and tremendous body weight loss unlike the usual nausea and vomiting that many pregnant women suffer from its more severe.
