Last night on August 2, Casio held a special event which included a press conference, red carpet, and cocktail party and musical performance for their new line of watches which included a star-studded unveiling at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom. The event was called G-Shock “Shock the World 2010” in which Casio unveiled their new watch lines which included their original G-Shock brand, Pathfinder, Baby G which is specifically geared towards females and their newest line Edifice.
Some of the stars who attended the unveiling included Lamar Odom who is also one of G-Shock’s ambassadors, along with wife Khloe Kardashian, television host Wendy Williams and husband Kevin Hunter, Oscar nominated actress Gabourey Sidibe, model Tyson Beckford, and singer Adrienne Bailon. Odom also announced that him and wife Khloe Kardashian will be launching a joint fragrance line called Unbreakable which will be for both men and women. Singer Adrienne Bailon spoke about working on her upcoming album with The Dream, although she did not reveal a release date for the album.
Attendees were treated to a performance by rock-pop singer Ke$ha who performed tracks off of her debut album Animal. Before her performance Ke$ha briefly spoke about becoming one of Casio’s new ambassadors for their Baby G line at the press conference. Ke$ha is currently touring with Rihanna on Rihanna’s “Last Girl on Earth” tour.
