Former Cash Money Records’ artist Magnolia Shorty was recently shot and killed in New Orleans last night.
Magnolia Shorty was shot at least 26 times in her New Orleans neighborhood.
And to be honest, I never heard of her before this morning on Twitter, with her being a trending topic and all, but any time you hear of something as senseless as this happening, it touches you. But 26 times? Damn! That’s crazy.
Magnolia Shorty, whose real name is Renetta Lowe, was the second female artist to sign with Cash Money Records. And she was discovered by Bryan “Birdman” Williams.
