Reports are coming out of New York that the Giants may be giving their ex-star wide receiver, now convicted felon, Plaxico Burress his first shot at redemption by returning to play for them.
Plaxico Burress is scheduled to be released from the upstate Oneida Correctional Facility on June 6 which is just in time for training camp barring that there isn’t a NFL lockout.
There is growing support within the Giants organization to bring him back and give him a second chance.
Co-owners Steve Tisch and John Mara have both gone on record stating that they both feel that he has paid his debt to society and would be open to him returning.
We’ve all watch the miraculous season that Mike Vick has had this year after being released from Prison.
Maybe there’ll be a sequel to the “Pro-football-Prison Rehab” story next season but this time in New York.
