President Hamid Karazai said that the U.S failed to cooperate over the massacre that took the lives of 16 Afghans. This massacre has simply caused a fear and a deep anger with the U.S troops.
Karzai was reported saying “The Afghan government didn’t receive cooperation from the USA regarding the surrender of the US soldiers to the Afghan government. This (civilian casualties) has been going on for too long.”
Many of the Afghan leaders are demanding that the suspect face a public trial, but in recent the 38-year-old decorated solider was instead shipped to Kuwait, which is the first step of being charged and ultimately convicted.
The solders lawyer said it was possible he could be tried at any major US garrison, but Afghan has been ruled out. Now the question is, is that fair?
