This is finally the moment that Kanye has waited for…and possibly Ray J for that matter, and that is Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are officially divorced.
After battling out in court for the past year, the ex-couple reached a settlement.
Per the divorce settlement, neither party will receive any money. Humphries originally wanted $7 million but eventually figured that there was no price on him being free from a Kardashian.
Each party will have to pay their own attorney’s fees. Kris Humphries originally wanted an annulment based on fraud, but dropped that request as well.
Kardashian appeared in court and Humphries didn’t, although he was supposed to. TMZ reports that Humphries started to consider dropping the annulment request when he didn’t show up and it was looking less and less likely that Kim committed fraud.
Humphries claimed that Kardashian married him for publicity reasons and set up parts of her show to make him look bad. The judge was ready to fine Humphries for not showing in court, but Kardashian asked him not to and he didn’t.
“Congratulations on your dissolution,” the judge told Kardashian.
