When this tasty sandwich comes to McDonald’s every year, it creates a frenzy.
It’s juicy, it’s barbecue, it looks like a rib although we all know too well that it isn’t.
Yes, I’m talking about the McDonald’s McRib sandwich.
Even though most of us know that McDonald’s meat products aren’t quite what they seem and that they are full of fillers, few expected the McRib to look like this.
A Reddit user posted the photo above of the frozen McRib he received from a friend that works at a McDonald’s in Canada.
The image, which was reportedly taken from a Canadian McDonald’s, shows a hand holding up a light-pink slab of frozen meat shaped like a rack of ribs.
To the amazement of many, the cult favorite sandwich that boasts of some 70 ingredients didn’t look anything like the same sandwich usually slathered in tangy barbecue sauce and topped with slivered onions and sliced pickles on a hoagie-style bun.
According to Gawker, the photo has been shared over 10,000 times.
This Frozen McRib picture has gone viral just in time for its return. McDonald’s must be counting their lucky stars.
But we’re sure this won’t stop people from munching down on a sandwich and washing it down with Coke, but we have to ask, will you ever eat a McRib again after seeing this pic?
