During a White House Concert last Thursday President Obama Reportedly dropped the initial ‘E’ when trying to spell the word respect which was understood to be mimicking Aretha Franklin’s famous song.
The queen of soul was quick to speak out her esteemed R-E-S-P-E-C-T for President Barack Obama with regard to his spelling skills. “The President and I are mutual when it comes to R-E-S-P-E-C-T,” she said.
The statement also reported that the 71-year-old said she was sure the president was a bit tired as he had much on His agenda.
Present in the concert included Franklin, Patti LaBelle, Melissa Etheridge, Janelle Monae, Ariana Grande and Jill Scott.
