Following a dramatic intervention by psychologist Dr. Phil, Nick Gordon, the boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina Brown, is reportedly getting the help he needs.
The intervention comes weeks after finding Brown facedown in a bathtub at her home in Roswell, Ga., CBS News reports. The daughter of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston remains in a medically induced coma at an Atlanta hospital.
The emotional intervention, staged by Gordon’s mother Michelle, is scheduled to air on Dr. Phil’s show on Wednesday, March 11, the report says.
“As we sit here right now, my son’s life hangs in the balance,” Michelle says in a preview. “When Whitney was found, he administered CPR to her and called me as he was standing in front of her saying, ‘Mom, why couldn’t I do it? I couldn’t get air into her lungs.’ He won’t let go of the guilt.”
Houston took Nick in when he was 12 years old because his mother couldn’t care for him. The singer raised Nick like a son, along with her only daughter, Bobbi Kristina. Nick and Bobbi Kristina’s relationship turned romantic shortly after Houston’s death.
Bobbi Kristina, 22, was found unresponsive in a bathtub on Jan. 31 and has been on life support ever since. A criminal investigation has been opened, with authorities having many questions for Gordon.
Nick reportedly hasn’t been very cooperative with the cops so it will be interesting to see if he said anything to Dr. Phil about what really happened to Bobbi Kristina in January. The episode is set to air on March 11.
Just this week, Gordon took to Twitter to post a suicidal tweet on the eve of Brown’s 22nd birthday.

So here’s hoping that Nick gets the help he needs to deal with his sorrow during this emotional time for him. And it has already been reported that he has checked in to a substance abuse clinic so Dr. Phil’s intervention may have did the trick.
