It looks like Dave Chappelle is making 2015 his comeback year with an upcoming stand up special on HBO.
Despite being on the road for two years performing a string of engagements, including last year’s sold out show at Radio City Music Hall, Chappelle hasn’t officially released new material since 2005’s For What It’s Worth.
Apparently and thankfully, all of that is about to come to an end.
Comedyhype reports, the 41 year old filmed new material for fans at Austin’s ACL Live. While there’s no air date or title for the show, fans who attended the event gave Chappelle glowing reviews on Twitter.
@DaveChappelle killed it last night! I'm top of his game

Chappelle isn’t the only comic returning to the stage. Chris Tucker took to Facebook late last month to announce his Netflix special. Simply Titled Chris Tucker Live, the stand up will premiere July 10.
An air date has yet to be confirmed, so stay tuned for more.
