For those who know me know I not a religious person. I do pray and try to be a good example for my family and friends, but I don’t attend church nor fully believe everything in the Christian Bible. I can get into my reasoning for that at another time. For now I want to talk about some of the things I do believe. I do believe in the end of days, and while I don’t know if it will happen in our lifetime,I do believe it certainly won’t be far off. What I didn’t think about, but is starting to resonate with me is how mankind will bring about our own Armageddon.
It seems insane that us as humans are trying to bring on our own demise. Ironically, though it is the ones who act to pious in positions of power that push into effect laws and grants that allow such atrocities to happen. For example the 2008 Financial Crash was caused by bankers having the freedom to regulate themselves. In that they turned the market into a free for all and the taxpayers are the ones who paid, but not a single CEO went to jail for their crimes. In a biblical sense, a few verses touch on some of the impact the crash had. “They will say, ‘The fruit you longed for is gone from you. All your riches and splendor have vanished, never to be recovered.’ The merchants who sold these things and gained their wealth from her will stand far off, terrified at her torment.” (Revelation 18:10–15)
What about what’s happening now in regards to earthquakes, war and other incidents mentioned in the Bible. If you’ve paid attention in the last few years with what’s going in Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and other states, fracking has become a serious problem. There has been an increase in the amount of small earthquakes and now the drinking water has become contaminated, acidic and even flammable. There was a Lake of Fire mentioned in the Book of Revelations. It’s just my theory that the flammable water from the constant fracking and the water that still has traces of oil in them from oil spills will ultimately be a perfect brew for the accelerant for this mythical lake.
This is just my thought while I was waiting for my pizza the other day. What are your thoughts?
