Rumors are naughty, aren’t they? Sometimes a joke just can’t be taken as a joke. There are several reports out there going around that Boy George slept with the sensational pop singer, Prince.
The question is. Was he joking, or was it, in fact, a true statement that slipped out naturally. Was it a volcano that has been waiting to erupt for years? I wouldn’t put it past these two prissy ones to have tried something or another. We often times don’t say things unless they have a sliver of truth behind it. How many times have you told someone you were with what you really thought when you were drunk. I mean it can’t be any different with Boy George, can it? I mean the guy is drunk in stardom that he was going to let that slip. I believe wholly that Prince & Boy George may have had a thing. Now let me list the reasons why.
Gay men are more free about their sexual experience. Not considering the fact they are able to keep things on the down low while engaging in such trysts. Women are more inclined to be more clingy once sex is involved and get more vocal when things don’t exactly work out in their sexual favor.
Men fill their need and move on. 95% of the time. I am not saying these are solid numbers, but there is quite a bit of truth. I have had gay men friends who have told me that they have slept with x amount of men and I would have NEVER guessed. Discretion until Boy George gets involved.
Another thing is that these men are popular in the scene, both very well known so of course and naturally so. The attention is going to be incredible. Did you expect it not to be? Who these guys sleep with is no one’s business. I mean seriously. Why do these people want their business broadcasted all over the world?
In today’s society, we seem to not have any boundaries. We just put it out there, we say what we want and think what we say. There are no boundaries. Social media is our worst enemy in this sense. I mean think how this will look in a year. 10 years. Everything gets recorded. Sometimes I don’t think these celebrities have any idea what they have gotten themselves into. Someone can say something in confidence but if they are offended or whatever. They run to twitter or Facebook and let the world know they are offended by this that or the other.
Boy George said this in a jokingly manner, but now there is going to repercussions. I am sure Prince will be along to confirm or deny the excursion. Even if it is true, does it really matter? Is it going to alter your life in some dramatic way that you won’t be able to recover?
Let it go people. We need to stop focusing on the minute things and start looking for news that we can take seriously and ponder.
