Caitlyn Jenner worked closely with MAC Cosmetics for new products. She was officially announced as the spokeswoman for Finally Free lipstick.
The product would be launched on April 7. This partnership also made Caitlyn as the most high-profile transgender in scoring big contracts.
“Finally Free! See how @MACcosmetics & I are helping the trans community,” Caitlyn tweeted.
“She has come to represent courage, fearlessness, honesty and compassion — characteristics long-prized and celebrated by MAC,” the company said.
“Her beautiful transformation inspires all of us to live our best lives and to honour who we are. Differences are what make us interesting. Acceptance, warmth and understanding are what make us human,” the company added.
“Before I came out, the impression I had of MAC was, ‘That’s quality; that’s the good stuff.’ Not only is it the good stuff, but MAC also has the willingness corporately to use its reach to make a difference, to change people’s minds. To help raise funds for HIV and AIDS, and in our case, for trans issues,” Caitlyn said.
For information, Caitlyn Jenner followed in the footsteps of Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Lorde, Kelly Osbourne and Rihanna. The incomes from Finally Free lipstick would benefit MAC AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative.
