Child-welfare officials have opened an investigation into Anthony Weiner after the former New York congressman sent lewd photos of himself with his toddler son lying next to him in bed.
An employee of the Administration for Children’s Services in New York City visited Weiner’s apartment Tuesday to investigate Weiner’s care of the boy, according to the New York Post.
In the photo, Weiner is seen in his underwear in a crotch selfie with his son in the background.
“Someone just climbed into my bed,” Weiner wrote in the text message that accompanied the photo.
“You do realize you can see you[r] Weiner in that pic??” the woman responded.
Weiner’s career ended after a sexting scandal in 2011. His wife, Huma Abedin, a senior Hillary Clinton aide, announced on Monday that she and her husband are separating.
