Right in time for Father’s Day, Beyonce and Jay Z welcomed their twins into the world this week making Blue Ivy, 5, a big sister.
Bey’s dad, Matthew Knowles, confirmed the news on Twitter earlier today (June 18).
“They’re here!” read the tweet. “Happy Birthday to the twins! Love, Granddad,” read an attached image complete with balloons.

Although the sex of the new members of the family have not been revealed yet, many believe that President Obama spilled the beans last week when he inducted Jay Z into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
“Jay and I are also fools for our daughters. Although, he’s going to have me beat once those twins show up,” said the former president leading many to believe that Jay is expecting twin girls.
However, TMZ recently reported “Beyoncé has given birth to a boy and a girl, but an issue surfaced that has kept them in the hospital for nearly a week.”
Either way, we’re just happy that the twins came in happy and healthy! And if or when the couple decides to reveal the sex of the two, we’re sure that it will be in the most epic fashion.
Beyonce announced her pregnancy back in February with an magical photo on Instagram.
“We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes,” read the caption of the photo.
Now, four months later, they’re here!
