Every rapper has a city, neighborhood, or projects they rep. For Kendrick Lamar, it’s Compton. For Nas, it’s Queensbridge. For JAY-Z, it’s Marcy Projects in Brooklyn.
Now, Meanr Mynr, is making sure to put his city on the map by putting the Denver, Colorado city in his debut album’s name, Park Hill Prophet. But while the other artists rap, Meanr Mynr, is turning out beats. The 14-track project shows Mynr’s knack for blending instruments together (he plays guitar!) as it gives a mix of psychedelic, JRPG, and jazz vibes.
It’s a pretty smooth ride and is worth a listen if you’re into instrumentals. Check it out below.
