A video was previously posted of D.L Hughley passing out while on stage during a comedy show.
Seen slowly slumping and ultimately passing out, the comedian received several reactions to the video. Fortunately, there was a man nearby to break his fall and help him off the stage with the assistance of two other men.
Since the incident, D.L. quickly took to social media to let everyone know he was fine. Even poking a little fun at himself during it.
He later made a video addressing the show. In D.L.’s 2-minute video post, he addresses his friends and fans, thanking them for the well wishes and joking about the “evil things” some of his comedy counterparts told him. In the video he says he shares that he had no prior symptoms that have been associated with the coronavirus. In the latest cases of the coronavirus, things like fatigue, fever, loss of taste or smell have been categorized as possible symptoms for COVID-19. All of which D.L. says he didn’t experience.
He continues to thank people for their well wishes and says he will be under quarantine for the next 14 days.
