In the humorous video for his new single “Vibes,” starring Tyla Yaweh, masked rapper RMR plays a lousy housesitter. Jamie Foxx, the customer in question, is gone and leaves RMR with the keys and some basic instructions from the house manager. RMR grins into the camera as Tyla drives up with a platoon of scantily clad women as soon as the house manager leaves.
Jamie, though, notices the gathering through the security camera feed and makes a cameo appearance through FaceTime not long after. Even if Jamie can only attend by phone, he and his house manager are persuaded to come. At the very least, the cute, masked artist fared better than DaBaby did when he attempted something similar a few months ago.
RMR, who experienced a viral breakout last year with country-trap cover of Rascal Flatts’ “God Bless The Broken Road” titled “Rascal,” proved he was more than just a one-hit-wonder with his Drug Dealing Is A Lost Art EP and its follow-up, 4th Qtr Medley, which likewise included covers of fan-favorite hits from the likes of Drake, Matchbox Twenty, and The Goo Goo Dolls.
