As part of their 2021 Women’s Empowerment Tour, Seagram’s Escapes and the Rolling Out RIDE Conference recently presented their third episode of Cocktails and Conversations. On Friday, May 21, the tour, which began in March of this year, held its third panel, which included authors, chefs, and restaurateurs. Pinky Cole, CEO of Slutty Vegan; Quad Webb, TV host, author, and chef; and Jenne’ Claiborne, author of Sweet Potato Soul, all stepped to the virtual stage to talk about business success, their distinct entrepreneurial journeys, and their own cookbooks and/or restaurants. Africa Miranda, a beautypreneur, moderated the session.
Each of the panelists made a special dish from their cookbook or restaurant in honor of the forthcoming Memorial Day holiday. Pinky Cole made vegan jerk chicken tacos from Jamaica and served them with Seagram’s Escapes Jamaican Me Happy.
Quad Webb mixed Seagram’s Escapes Jamaican Me Happy flavor with a light and refreshing orange glazed salmon dish from her cookbook.
While Jenne’ Claiborne prepared vegan crab cakes and paired them with Seagram’s Escapes Passion Fruit Mango flavor.
