Brockhampton released Roadrunner: New Light, New Machine in April, their first album in in two years. While many people were looking forward to its arrival, the new project also brought some unpleasant news. Kevin Abstract, the group’s lead vocalist, said in a tweet before the album’s release that it “will be our last.” In 2021, though, there will be much more Brockhampton. They’re releasing a new album later this year, and now there’s a new video for “Don’t Shoot Up The Party.”
It’s a bizarre event, recording the gang in the midst of some out-of-control activity. The latest video is nothing short of wild, from acting out in the middle of the street to worshiping a weird metal figure to even burying a group member alive.
On top of everything else they have coming this year, the group is also droping a deluxe edition of Roadrunner with four additional songs: “Jeremiah (Original),” “Pressure / Bow Wow,” “Sex,” and “Jeremiah (Rmx).” The deluxe edition, which is titled Roadrunner: New Light, New Machine Plus Pack, will arrive on June 4.
